What do you enjoy most about Psychology?

Royal Holloway is one of the leading psychological research institutions in the UK with prominent experts in their respective fields guiding you throughout your learning. You not only learn the underlying principles of psychological theory and methodology, but look at current topics of interest and even have the opportunity to participate in current and approved research right here on campus. This combination of theory and practical participation ensures you enjoy a multi-dimensional and fulfilling learning experience.

What is your favourite thing about being a student at Royal Holloway? 

Whether you have shown a particular strength in academia, leadership, music or sport, or come from a low income household and need that little extra financial support to ease the burden of university life, Royal Holloway strives to ensure that not only does everyone have an equal opportunity to succeed, but also that those who have achieved highly are recognised and their potential nurtured. 

What is the student life like?

The number and variety of societies and clubs is endless. From academic departments, dance, drama, cultural societies and countless sports clubs, to Zombies vs Humans and Hollowarts, that’s right Potter fans! Each one offers opportunities to meet like-minded people and certainly enhances your overall experience of university life.

With two libraries on campus; Bedford Library which remains open 24/7 and the beautiful Founder's Library which offers an intellectually stimulating environment, along with state-of-the-art online services for finding e-journals, e-books and hard copies, you have everything you need whenever you need it.
