Our next 2019-20 Economics Taster Day will be taking place on Wednesday 4 March. 


At Royal Holloway, University of London we are offering potential applicants the opportunity to come to our beautiful 135 acre campus for an Economics Taster Day on Wednesday 4 March 2020. The session is ideal for students who are thinking about taking our Economics course when proceeding onto higher education.

The Taster Day will include:

  • An introduction to studying Economics and university life

  • A taster lecture from Professor Jonathan Wadsworth on the Economics of Immigration

  • Seminar sessions on game theory from Doctor Philip Neary, demystifying numbers from Professor Mike Spagat and The Very Long Run from Professor Andy Seltzer

  • The chance to have a Q&A session with current students

  • A guided tour around our beautiful campus

This Taster Day begins with registration in the foyer of the Davison Building at 9.30am. The day will finish at 3.30pm and visitors are asked to bring a packed lunch or money to buy lunch on campus.
