Find out more about our upcoming Taster Days with the Classics department
Our Classics Taster Day, on Monday 30 March 2020, offers the opportunity to get a sense not only of the diversity of the classical world itself but of the ways in which we study it at university.
The programme offers a variety of talks that reflect just some of the disciplines open to those interested in studying the classical world at university, with talks from our archaeologists, historians and literature specialists. The day concludes with a talk on the practicalities of studying the classical world at university and on graduate degrees available to those equipped with a classical degree.
We look forward to welcoming you to Royal Holloway for this exciting and useful opportunity to learn more about studying the classical world at university.
This Taster Day begins with registration in the foyer of the Emily Wilding Davison Building at 10.30am. The day will finish at 3.15pm and visitors are asked to bring a packed lunch or money to buy lunch on campus.
More information, including a full programme for the day, will be published closer to the event.
