Kingswood Halls 1 and 2 residents have two of their own venues for meeting, eating and drinking in addition to the social spaces located on campus.

Please note that Kingswood 1 and 2 will be unavailable for 2023 entry due to renovation work. They will be available for 2024 entry.


Kingswood residents enjoy home-cooked meals in an informal atmosphere at KW’s. You can also use your Campus Account to pay for your meals to get a 50% discount.

KW's serves hot main meals, soups, salads, hot sandwiches made to order, desserts and weekend brunch. Regular theme nights include tapas, Italian, Chinese and Mexican.

Located in Kingswood Hall, 8Bar9 offers a great choice of food throughout the day and you’ll always get a warm welcome in the evening.

Kingswood residents get breakfast at 8Bar9. The bar also offers a wide selection of made to order hot food and snacks at lunchtime and in the evening, and there’s Starbucks coffee throughout the day.

In the evenings you can sample the ever-changing cocktail menu or enjoy special events such as Kingswood Karaoke, movie nights, and open mic nights.
