Can I bring my car?
Yes. If you live in Kingswood 1 or 2, you can bring your car with you to your Halls of Residence but you can’t take your car to the main Royal Holloway campus. If you want to bring your car to Kingswood, you’ll need to apply for a free parking permit online before you arrive. This will only be valid for parking at Kingswood.
You can bring your car to the main campus for up to one hour, but if you stay any longer you’ll get a parking fine.
All mail arrives at the Main College Post Room and is distributed to the appropriate Halls of Residence within 24 hours. In Kingswood 1 and 2, letters you receive will be placed in the pigeon holes in Kingswood main foyer for collection. If you receive a parcel or item needing a signature, we’ll email you to let you know that it’s arrived and is ready for collection from the reception desk. Remember to bring valid ID when you come to collect your mail.
Please make sure your post is addressed using your full name, (as it appears on your student ID card, rather than any nicknames or abbreviated names), hall address and room number. Otherwise we may not be able to get your mail to you.
