Delegates will learn about the requirements and application of the COSHH regulations and the College COSHH Policy and Procedure document, including how to conduct risk assessments using the College COSHH assessment form. Delegates will also be introduced to the concepts of prevention and control of exposure to substances hazardous to health, including the use and maintenance of control measures and methods to show that such control measures are adequate in protecting the health and safety of personnel. This training course is relevant to, and essential for, all staff who are required to conduct COSHH assessment on behalf of their department.
