Roz Kaveney, distinguished author, editor, journalist, poet and transgender rights activist will share her reminiscences of the history of the LGBT movement in the UK since the 1970s and discuss the issues facing LGBT people in the arts and academia today. The talk will be followed by a drinks reception.
This event celebrates LGBT History Month at Royal Holloway by promoting the visibility of sexual minorities and increasing awareness of issues that these have faced, both historically and in contemporary Britain. All are welcome to attend.
