In order to provide support for our employees at difficult times, we provide a free and confidential Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), which is available for all staff to access.

Your access to the Employee Assistance Programme is paid for by the College as a support service for you as an employee, so it’s free of charge for you to use. It’s available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and is accessible by telephone, email and online.

The EAP is delivered by Workplace Options, an independent provider of employee support services with specialist staff in fields such as well-being, family matters, relationship issues, debt management, and consumer rights. The EAP can provide:

  • Practical information
  • Fact sheets and packs
  • Resource information on support services in your local area
  • Short-term face to face or telephone counselling
  • The EAP website also offers extensive resources including articles, interactive tools and online seminars

The EAP is designed to help you with a wide range of work, family and personal issues. Topics include the following:
