In 2009 I was appointed Director of Music of the Spanish & Portuguese Jews’ Congregation, founded over 300 years ago and subsuming three synagogues in London. I was previously Assistant Musical Director of the London Jewish Male choir – which celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2006 – with whom I premiered several works as vocal soloist.

I am the 2009/10 recipient of the Simon Fletcher Charitable Trust Award for Singers, and of the Royal Academy’s Dorothy Pattinson Prize and Coutt’s Scholarship for the same period.

I attended the 2008 Dartington International Summer School with the generous support of the Richard Heason in Memoriam Award.
