Annual Women in Science lecture

Professor Ashley Moffett from the University of Cambridge gives Royal Holloway's first Annual Women in Science lecture, suitable for Key Stage 5 students and members of the public.

Professor Moffett is a Professor of Reproductive Immunology at the University of Cambridge and Director of Studies for Medical Sciences, Kings College, Cambridge. After training as a doctor specialising in reproductive pathology, Professor Moffett moved into academia to work on the maternal immune response to the fetus and how this impacts on pregnancy disorders.

Royal Holloway holds a bronze level Athena SWAN award. The Athena SWAN charter recognises commitment to advancing women's careers in science, technology, engineering, maths and medicine.
