How do you create a human?

Mary Shelley asked this question in herscience fiction novel, Frankenstein, but have we, today, come up with an answer?

As part of the Library’s “Love to Learn”term of events, we are asking for submissions for an exhibition. Yoursubmissions will make the backdrop for a debate on the theme of what it is tobe human: nature versus nurture, constructing human identity and geneticmodification.

Take a photo, pen a poem, conduct anexperiment, suggest a theory or build a monster!

This is not just a science event. We wantthe wild, wacky and wonderful from all disciplines.

This is a chance to show off your opinion, talent and knowledge when faced with the ultimate question: WHAT IS IT TO BEHUMAN?

Email your exhibition submissions to library@rhul.ac.uk with 'Frankenfest' inthe title.
