Adding publications to Pure
Publication data may be added to Pure in one of three ways:
1. By creating a publication record from a template. In Pure, information can be entered about different types of research outputs by completing the relevant templates.
2. By importing publication data from online databases of journal articles, such as Scopus or Web of Science. These sources can be searched from within Pure and publication data imported directly.
3. By importing a BibTex or RIS file. If publications are kept in BibTeX format, these can be imported directly into Pure. If a reference management program like EndNote is used, bibliographies in BibTeX or RIS format can be exported and then imported into Pure using the 'import from file' option.
To add a publication, log into and click on the green Add new button at the top right side of the screen.
A new window will open; select category Research output on the left side of the screen. The method can then be selected for creating a research output in Pure.
