Add or edit profile text and photo

Your personal profile contains information which is displayed on the College's website. It provides a very quick way to build a web page about your own research interests.

To add or edit your profile information, log on to Pure and click on the button Edit profile in the middle of the page under your name and department.

A new screen will open. Go to the section Profile information and click on the button Add profile information to add text in your profile.

We suggest that you prepare the information in advance and copy it in the text box that will open. You can expand the text editor by clicking on the 'blue monitor' button; click again on the icon to shrink the screen.

Notice that you can select different section headings that will be displayed on the website.

If you want to add a hyperlink in your profile, highlight the content that you want to link from and click on the hyperlink (chain) icon. A new window will open in which you can copy in the URL you want to link to.

Once you have entered and formatted the text, click Update. If you want to add another section, click again on the Add profile information button. Click Edit next to the section to edit the text. If you add several headings, you can change the order of sections by clicking on up and down arrows. Click on the minus sign to remove the section.

To add a profile picture, click on the button Add profile photo. This will let you add a file the same way you would add an email attachment.

If you want to find out how to insert images in your profile text, please click here. Please remember to click Save when you have finished. The changes you make to your profile will appear on the website instantly - just refresh the page.
