Teaching excellence

Our lecturers undertake innovative teaching

Our lecturers undertake innovative teaching and each year a series of schemes encourage them to consider new ways of delivering teaching, assessing and supporting students. For details of current projects see here.

Our teaching staff are experienced researchers, and/or practitioners and many of them hold formal teaching qualifications such as fellowship of the Higher Education Academy, we have a growing number of senior fellows and two principal fellows.

We have two National Teaching Fellows: Professor Bob Eaglestone in the English Department and Dr Victoria Bourne in the Department of Psychology.
