Social work lecturer Karl Mason is co-author of a winning article for the "outstanding paper" in the Emerald Literati Awards 2019.

The paper reports on work to increase access to Care Act, 2014 assessments for people experiencing homelessness. Karl was also named an "outstanding reviewer" in the awards.
