International Concert Series 2021-22
We are are thrilled to welcome one of the most exciting oboists of his generation, Olivier Stankiewicz, to perform at Royal Holloway a recital of Bach, Mozart and Poulenc, from the art of the transcription to one of the mainstay works of the oboe repertoire. He will be joined by celebrated Scottish pianist, Alasdair Beatson.

About the performers
French oboist Olivier Stankiewicz has been praised for his “astounding technique, rich sound, and mature artistry” (ResMusica). Sought after as a soloist, chamber musician and teacher, Olivier has performed widely in Europe, Japan and the USA. Highlights include recitals at Wigmore Hall, Snape Maltings, the Louvre in Paris, Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the Isabella Gardner Museum in Boston, Merkin Concert Hall and Morgan Library in New York. He has collaborated with Alasdair Beatson, the Doric and Castalian String Quartets, Jean Rondeau, Jonathan Ware and Alvise Sinivia, among many others. Scottish pianist Alasdair Beatson works prolifically as soloist and chamber musician. Highlights of the 2019/20 season include performances at London’s Wigmore Hall and Kings Place, a residency at Sage Gateshead, recitals on fortepiano of Beethoven violin sonatas with Viktoria Mullova, and appearances in festivals including the Bath Mozartfest, Edinburgh International, Esbjerg, kamara.hu, and West Cork. - Booking is essential for all International Concert Series events, as numbers will be capped to enable sufficient spacing in our venues. There will be no tickets available on the door.
- We ask that our audience continue to social distance and wear a mask at all times.
- Entry to our events is dependent on evidence of double vaccination or a negative lateral flow test within 24-hours of the concert start time.
- We regret that we cannot provide refreshments at this time.

Ticket prices are £12.50 (standard); £10.00 (Concession; over 60s); £5.00 for Royal Holloway alumni and non-Royal Holloway students; FREE for Royal Holloway students, Royal Holloway staff and children under the age of 16.
