From the eastern mountains: Saxophone music from Prokofiev and beyond

Acclaimed international artists Kyle Horch (saxophone) and Yshani Perinpanayagam (piano) are invited to open our 2018/19 concert series with dazzling music written from an array of Russian and eastern-European composers, from the Estonian composer Eduard Tubin, living Polish composer-pianist Krzysztof Herdzin to Prokofiev’s Five Melodies, plus more. Whose playing “sparkles with energy” (The Observer), we are honoured to welcome Professor of Saxophone (Royal College of Music and Royal Holloway) Kyle Horch to our series for an evening showcasing the wonders of this versatile instrument.
Tickets
Ticket prices are £12.50 (standard) and £10.00 (concessions/over 60, Royal Holloway Alumni). Current Royal Holloway students and staff tickets are FREE. Children 16 and under are FREE. Non-Royal Holloway students are £5.00.
