PhD graduate Kaisa Matomäki awarded the 2019 New Horizons in Mathematics Prize

Kaisa Matomäki awarded the 2019 New Horizons in Mathematics Prize for fundamental breakthroughs in the understanding of local correlations of values of multiplicative functions.
The department of Mathematics are delighted that Kaisa Matomäki is continuing her successful work in the field of mathematics. Kaisa obtained her Ph.D. in Mathematics at Royal Holloway with her thesis titled “Applications of Sieve Methods in Analytic Number Theory” She is now at the University of Turku.
