Official Opening of the Placements Place

  • Date14 May 2018

The one stop shop for all year in business, internship and work experience queries - the Placements Place - is now open in the School of Management!

In January 2018, Faculty Dean Professor Bob O'Keefe, along with Head of School, Professor Gloria Agyemang officially opened the Placements Place - a dedicated space within the School of Management which aims to support, encourage and advise all Management students who are either enrolled on a Year in Business programme or are interested in taking part in an internship or work experience placement during their time at Royal Holloway.

Placement students past and present came along to the official opening, which took the form of a lunch reception within the atrium of the Moore Building, just outside the brand new Placements Place.

Year in Business Programme Officer, Katharine Radford, spoke at the event of how the Year in Business programme was growing within the School and how the new Placements Place would give interested students a destination to visit and a friendly space where they can have their questions answered.
