While digital technology has profoundly transformed the world we live in and digitisation has been accelerating in the last few decades, we are still struggling to answer the question whether and how digitisation addresses deep-seated challenges in sustainable development. In this workshop we bring together academics and PhD students from various UK institutes to share their research and thoughts, and to discuss major challenges in conducting research in this area.
