The rankings mark a fourth win for the department this year, which has already seen excellent results in the National Student Survey 2018, with overall student satisfaction for English at 90%, and for Creative Writing at 93%; a ranking of 5th for Creative Writing in the UK, according to the Complete University Guide 2019; and a top 15 ranking for highest earning English graduates, five years after graduation (Longitudinal Education Outcomes, 2018).

We add this to our other current accolades of 3rd in the UK for Research Environment (REF 2014), and the recognition of our stunning campus as one of the most beautiful universities in the UK (TripAdvisor poll in October 2017, and Times Higher Education, January 2018).
