Andreas Hadjixenophontos

Dr. Andreas Hadjixenophontos is an Associate Professor in Accounting and Finance at the University of Neapolis in Paphos. He graduated in 1985 from the Department of Accounting and Finance of the London School of Economics and later did his MSc and PhD at the same University.

During the period 1985-1990 he worked for Price Waterhouse in London where in 1988 he qualified as a Chartered Accountant after passing the exams of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. His audit clients included major international public corporations based in the UK and the US.

In 1998 he became CEO of a major Audit firm in Cyprus specialising in the audit of banking institutions and in 2000 he became the CEO of an investment bank. He left in 2004 to set up his own consultancy practice and at the same time started University teaching.

During the last four years he published several papers in the area of accounting and finance and in 2017 he has been appointed senior academic advisor and Teaching Fellow at Royal Holloway of the University of London. He is also a non-executive member of the Board of Directors of various organizations.
