We are pleased to announce that the latest interdisciplinary issue of Platform: Journal of Theatre and Performing Arts (vol. 13 no 1.), entitled ‘On Criticism' will be published at the end of this month, and we invite you to celebrate with us at the launch event.

29 October, 6.30 pm,

Platform is a peer-reviewed journal published out of Royal Holloway, University of London and has been devoted to publishing the work of postgraduates, postdoctoral researchers, and entry-level academics in fields related to theatre and the performing arts for 13 years.This issue shines a spotlight on the current landscape of art, theatre, and performance criticism in Europe and features contributions from emerging scholars in the UK and beyond.

The launch event is a great opportunity to learn more about Platform, to grab a (colour) print copy of the new edition, and to start or continue already existing conversations.

The event will include:

  • Introduction to the issue by Dr Diana Damian-Martin (Royal  Central School of Speech and Drama)
  • A Critical Encounter Performance by Practitioner-Researcher Jef Hall-Flavin (RSCCD)
  • Plenty of food & drink
