Carbon Literacy Training

Carbon Literacy Training

Find out more about Carbon Literacy Training in the Department of Drama, Theatre and Dance.

Carbon Literacy is defined as: ‘An awareness of the carbon dioxide costs and impacts of everyday activities, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis.’

In the autumn term of 2022 the Department of Drama, Theatre and Dance will again be supporting a Carbon Literacy Training course scheme at Royal Holloway. Learners who have completed a days’ worth of Carbon Literacy learning can be certified as ‘Carbon Literate’ and can then go on to teach the course to others.

As Carbon Literacy increasingly becomes desirable in terms of employability, the Department intends to run more courses for students in the near future.
