Record numbers for Science Open Day

Posted on 06/03/2012

The network of neurons created by visitors

The Psychology Department again showed in force at this year's Science Open Day - the busiest one ever with almost 4000 visitors!  All day the Psychology exhibits were inundated with interested participants.

Attractions such as the tours to view Department's own research dedicated magentic resonance imaging scanner were fully booked all day and there were ten new additional Psychology activities from last year. People had the chance to test their ability as an eye witness and learn about the human brain amongst many other activities.  There was also the chance to help construct a massive network of brain-cells.

Thank you to everyone who came along - we hope you enjoyed the day!
