Insight from YOUR sight - Science Museum Experiment

Insight from YOUR Sight project

The Gaze Driven Evolutionary Algorithm goes public, and gets a little wild, as we'll be using it to evolve dinosaurs at the London Science Museum all summer beginning Tuesday July 19th. The experiment is part of the Live Science programme run by the museum and visitors will generate dinosaurs based on their eye-movements, and we will then check how much they like what they, and others, have evolved. This is the next step in validating the methodology developed by Dr Tim Holmes during his PhD and will lead into an evaluation of the technology by Special Effect with a view to developing an assistive creative/learning tool for handicapped children (linked to a British Academy grant).
