Physics graduates have a very wide selection of options available to them in almost every sector of the modern economy. We provide opportunities for you to develop transferable skills and market yourself effectively for graduate jobs. At least 90 per cent of our graduates go into employment or further study within six months of graduating.
Physics Careers Week
This annual event provides an insight into some of the career routes open to you. Alumni return to share their experience, build connections and give advice to students. One-to-one advice with a Careers consultant is available each term.
The Careers service
Royal Holloway’s Careers Service is part of The Careers Group, University of London - the largest university careers service in Europe.
Physics students can access a wide range of facilities from the Careers Service, including a part-time jobs fair, providing students with access to local employers, and a wide variety of skills workshops throughout the academic year.
Further information on careers is available from the Institute of Physics.
