Operation Golden Eagle

Venue: Royal Holloway campus or in school.

Contact our Outreach Officer to arrange

Students in Yr 8 or Yr 9 become secret agents for the day in a race to recover stolen gold. The students have to work in teams to overcome a series of scientific challenges in order to recover gold stolen by a group of evil thieves.

Schools can enter teams into the competition that is held on the Royal Holloway campus or it is possible to arrange for the event to be run in school for up to 40 students.

Our Physics outreach officer is Dave Farmer. Dave graduated from the University of Nottingham with an MSci in Physics in 2011 and undertook a PhD in Soft Matter Physics. He is currently in the process of writing up his thesis.

If you would like to book one of our events or if you would just like to know a little more about what we do, please get in touch.
