Physics Nobel Prize Celebration

On 8 October the RHUL Centre for Particle Physics celebrated the award of the Nobel Prize in Physics to Peter Higgs (University of Edinburgh) and Francois Englert (Free University of Brussels). The CPP is involved in the ATLAS collaboration at CERN who confirmed, along with the CMS collaboration, the discovery of the Higgs boson using the Large Hadron Collider.
