LightTAG workshop

Posted on 09/12/2010

The LightTAG workshops are currently taking place across the South East as part of a collaboration between SEPnet and the University of the Creative Arts. The workshops are for young people who are currently NEET (not in education, employment or training) and are designed to enagage them with both science and art.

The Royal Holloway workshop ran at the beginning of December with a group of young people from a Surrey Heath youth group. During the workshop, the group learnt about the science of light and made their own light drawings and animations. Images from the Royal Holloway workshop, along with images from the other workshops run will form part of a touring exhibition that launches in February at the BFI on the South Bank in London. All the pictures and animations from the workshops are currently available on the LightTAG Facebook page and more information is available on the LightTAG blog.
