Wednesday 9th Jan: A film & pizza night, and the chance to catch up after the Christmas break, 6.30+, ABF001
Wednesday 16th: A Debate About Debate: Is Debate the Best Way of Making A Decision? This is a joint event with RHUL Debating Society. 6.30+ Location TBC
Wednesday 23rd Jan: War: What Is It Good For? With a pre-discussion presentation by Patrick Campbell (RHUL History student, an PhilSoc Treasurer.) 6.30pm+, ABF001
Wednesday 30th Jan: Mental Health & Responsibility in Actions: The Effect of Mental Health on Responsibility of an Agent. 6.30pm+, ABF001
Monday 4th- Friday 10th February: RHUL does Arts Week! This is the first ever week on campus dedicated to emphasising the importance of the Arts to students and to society as a whole. Events include Doodle Day, a workshop with local children, and a showcase of RHUL’s finest artistic, photographic and performing arts talent in Medicine. More details nearer the time! (Various Locations on Campus.)

Weds 13th: READING WEEK
Sat 16th & Sunday 17th February: Phil.Soc go to the British Undergraduate Philosophy Society (BUPS) Conference, held at Heythrop College, London. More information can be found here: http://www.bups.org/forthcoming-conference/, but tickets are only £15 for the weekend, and we can travel to and from London each day, reducing costs for accommodation.

Socials & Trips
Friday 12th Jan: Our first social of the year. Drinks at the Happy Man followed by a night at the SU.
Saturday 9th Feb: Philosophy Society goes to "Societies, Media & RAG Ball" at Renaissance Hotel, Heathrow.This is the annual event organised by the SU, which rewards societies that have been outstanding in a particular area. Three course meal, champagne reception, and DJ until 3am. More details to follow, but tickets are usually around £30.
Wednesday 20th February: Social- Visit to Tate Modern, followed by dinner, restaurant TBC
