Ensembles in Residence

The Music Department is fortunate to enjoy the services of three outstanding resident ensembles,  The King's Singers, CHROMA and the Tippett Quartet. Both play an important role in enhancing our performance programme.

CHROMA

Founded in 1997, CHROMA is a collective of 20 musicians dedicated both to new music and to revisiting classic repertoire in fresh and exciting contexts, and involving audiences in compelling, inspirational experiences. CHROMA performs programmes of contemporary music here at the College and participates in frequent composition workshops where students are able to hear their own compositions performed by musicians of outstanding calibre.
