Michael Cryne's new work, Prism, was one of the five winners of this year's Molinari Quartet Composition Competition

Michael Cryne, our current Ph D student in Composition, is one of five winners of the prestigious Fifth International Molinari Quartet Composition Competition this year. His work, Prism, was chosen from 100 entries from 27 countries, and selected by a jury which included the Molinari Quartet, composers Nicolas Gilbert and Jean Lesange. Prism will be performed in Montreal in December this year by the quartet in a week of workshops, rehearsals, discussions and performances.
