Part time (0.5), 3 years, mainly term time. Salary is in the range £19,758 to £23,370 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Which is pro rata the full time salary range £39,516 to 46,741inclusive of London Allowance.
Applications are invited for the post of Fellow in Music Performance in the Music Department.
We are looking for a dynamic, engaging and charismatic musician who will develop and enrich the wide-ranging instrumental and orchestral performance opportunities that already exist in the University. You will be expected to conduct the Royal Holloway Symphony Orchestra, organise chamber music events and initiate new performing ventures that should enhance the college’s musical life in tandem with its already flourishing choral tradition.
The successful candidate will be expected to have:
• a good degree in music, whether from university or conservatoire
• extensive experience as a conductor, especially working with young adults
• established good connections with the professional musical world
• good organizational skills, and to be dynamic and charismatic
This is a part-time post (0.5), available from January 2014 or as soon as possible thereafter for a fixed term period of 36 months/to January 2017. This post is based in Egham, Surrey, where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
