Composer Mark Bowden's Percussion Concerto at the Royal Opera House

Lecturer Mark Bowden, resident composer with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales will present his Percussion Concerto at the Royal Opera House's Linbury Studio. A cast of 12 international dancers from the National Dance Company Wales will stage Virtual Descent, set to Mark's dramatic score and realised by NDCW House Choreographer Eleesha Drennan. Other works on the bill include Noces, from celebrated French choreographer Angelin Preljoçaj, using Stravinsky’s Les Noces. American choreographer Stephen Petronio’s Water Stories will also feature, worked to specially commissioned music from Atticus Ross.
