Posted on 20/11/2012

Matt Abrams (above, left), our second year undergraduate in Music, has just landed a job as Music Director of the new Riverside Studios production, I Do I Do!. Written by Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt - the team behind The Fantasticks - the show marks history as the first two-person musical to have been performed on Broadway. Its London outing will feature ITV star Tim Prottey-Jones and is directed by Matthew Gould.

Matt, 20, hails from Southport, Liverpool, and was talent-spotted while assisting on an earlier production of The Pirates of Penzance. This is his first outing as a professional music director, following years of study and experience as a trumpeter and pianist.

Rehearsals have begun on Nov 12 and the show opens on Dec 5, running till Dec 7.
