Third French Student/Staff Research Forum

The third French Student/Staff Research Forum will take place on 21 March 2012, 5.00-6.30 pm, in IN243. All interested undergraduates, postgraduates and staff are warmly invited to come along on to hear about some of the research activity that is going on in Modern Languages at Royal Holloway. Drinks will be served.
There will be two speakers:
Dr Hannah Thompson, Senior Lecturer in French, is a specialist in19C French literature, notably Zola, with a particular  focus on issues of gender, sexuality, and disability. The title of her presentation is: 'Blind Faith: Beginning a New Research Project'
Eleonora Raspi, a first-year PhD student, is writing a doctoral thesis on the later films of Michelangelo Antonioni. The title of her presentation is: 'Michelangelo Antonioni: Dialoguing  with Contemporary Art'.
