Societies in SMLLC
The School of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures is keen to support student-run societies that expand and develop everyone's knowledge and experience of the cultures they are studying.
Our societies often also have members from other Departments and Schools in the College — native speakers of the languages we teach and study, for example, or students who are simply interested in what goes on here! The School supports these societies financially.
In recent years the societies have joined together with the staff to organize an annual dinner in the Picture Gallery near the beginning of term 2, which has always proved very popular. Details of this year's dinner will be posted on here late in term 1.
