German Play

27 (19:30) - 29/02/2012 (10:30)

Tickets are £4 and include a free programme and plot synopsis in English. If you would like to reserve tickets and pay on the night, please email the German Society Committee on rhulgermansociety@yahoo.co.uk.

The time has come once again for Royal Holloway’s annual German Play. This year we have chosen to perform Mutter Courage und ihre Kinder by Bertolt Brecht, a German poet and dramatist, who also wrote the play for our very successful performance of Pauken und Trompeten last year. Mutter Courage, which was written in 1939, is considered by some to be the greatest play of the 20th century, and perhaps also the greatest anti-war play of all time.

We would love for you to join us on either

Monday 27th February,

Tuesday 28th February, or

Wednesday 29th February 2012

at 7.30pm in Arts Lecture Theatre 1.
