French Student/Staff Research Forum

All interested undergraduates, postgraduates and staff are warmly invited to come along on Wednesday 25 January from 5-6.30pm to hear about some of the research activity that is going on in French at Royal Holloway. Drinks will be served.

After the success of the first session at the start of November, I am delighted to give advance notice of the second French Student/Staff Research Forum of this session.

Dr Ruth Hemus, Lecturer in French and previously Leverhulme Early Career Fellow; and Anne-Célia Feutrie, PhD student in French. Dr Hemus a specialist in European modernist and avant-garde movements, with a particular focus on women and gender. Anne-Célia Feutrie is writing a doctoral thesis on scandal in twentieth-century fiction (specifically Aymé, Genet, Nimier and Vian).
