Posted on 04/03/2013

The Department of Mathematics has up to four scholarships/departmental assistantships available for new PhD students starting in Autumn 2013, covering Home/EU fees and maintenance.

These are available for PhD projects in the areas of algebra, discrete mathematics, number theory, quantum dynamics, or statistics and probability: see projects 1,2,3,6,7 on http://www.rhul.ac.uk/mathematics/prospectivestudents/postgraduateresearch/suggestedresearchtopics.aspx for some examples of potential projects in these areas.

Please see http://www.ma.rhul.ac.uk/bin/staff-dir.php for a complete list of potential PhD supervisors.

Interested candidates are encouraged to contact potential supervisors directly, either before or in parallel with making an online application: http://www.rhul.ac.uk/mathematics/prospectivestudents/postgraduateresearch/howtoapply.aspx .
