Professor Laura J. Spence launched the Hull University and Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales corporate social responsibility seminar series in November. The series focuses on 'responsible leadership for a complex world' and Professor Spence's lecture addressed Keeping it Simple in a Complex World? Responsible Leadership and the Ethic of Care in Small Firms.

Dr May Seitanidi of Hull University Business School interviewed Prof. Spence, who has been called a guru of business ethics, on her research and what initially attracted her to corporate social responsibility: read the interview with Prof. Spence.
