A new book co-edited by Dr José-Rodrigo Córdoba-Pachón was officially launched on 23rd September at Royal Holloway. The book is a joint effort between Jose-Rodrigo, Alejandro Ochoa-Arias from Venezuela and a number of contributors from all over the world including Dr Juan-Ignacio Criado and Royal Holloway PhD student Endrit Kromidha. It offers a number of conceptual and practical assessments on the development of e-government practices in different countries.
To mark the book launch an international seminar on technology and governance was organised: Dr Juan-Ignacio Criado from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid in Spain and Dr David Pullinger from the Central Office of Information of the UK government shared their perspectives on policies and implementation of e-government in both Spain and the UK. The seminar was well-attended by a number of academic staff from the School of Management and by current and past MSc Business Information Systems students, who also networked during the event.
