During September the 52nd Operational Research Conference took place at Royal Holloway. Over 320 delegates from all over the world gathered to share research and practical work that is now being used in several economic sectors and industries, including government. Delegates were very impressed with the facilities on campus and its friendly environment.

There were 27 streams in areas ranging from the use of multi-criteria decision methods to information systems and knowledge management, data mining, defence and community operational research, successfully promoted discussion in the three days of the conference.

“This was an exceptional opportunity for the School of Management to make active presence in the operational research community. I am delighted with the positive response from so many delegates and their valuable comments about our whole community here at Royal Holloway. An invaluable experience without a doubt.”
