The School of Management has risen 6 places to be placed 27th in the Complete University Guide 2014, ranking us within the top quartile of business and management schools in the UK. Within this ranking, the school has shown significant improvements in student satisfaction. We have been proactive in seeking feedback from students in order to guide investment to the areas that will have both an immediate and longer term impact on the quality of the student experience.
Jeffrey Unerman, Head of School commented ‘as the school has a close community between academic staff and students, we have been able to explore new areas in which to support students and enhance their learning experience. This can be as simple making sure our students have additional space to study for exams, or offering a greater variety of feedback and types of assessment.’
The School is committed to providing programmes and courses that reflect the current business and economic environment and we regularly review and update courses to ensure we have programmes that are current and reflect the skills needed in the marketplace today.
We are also pleased to note that the rankings reflect an increase in our graduates' prospects as this is an area we focus upon across our programmes to ensure Royal Holloway graduates have transferable skills to take to the market place.
