MA Marketing students visit Museum of Brands

Posted on 02/01/2013

On the 7 December 2012, our MA Marketing students visited the Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising in Notting Hill, West London. Also in attendance were Programme Directors,  Dr. Andreas Chatzidakis and Dr. Alan Bradshaw and the Head of the Marketing cohort, Professor Pauline Maclaran

Around 35 students attended the event to experience the museum’s large collection of packaged goods and advertisements dating from as far back as the 1860's to the present day. The event was a great success and allowed the students to gain a first hand insight to the history of marketing. The afternoon continued at a local pub, where students and academics socialised over drinks and shared their thoughts and ideas on marketing.
