Indian Alumni Reunion

On Thursday 22nd November, 16 alumni attended the first Indian Alumni Reunion, which was held in Delhi at the Hotel Lalit.

After dinner and over drinks, alumni addressed the key topic for debate: international alumni engagement. A lively discussion followed, ranging from a need for greater clarity as to the purpose of alumni reunions, where and how such events can be run and promoted to ensure maximum impact, and how alumni can reach out to prospective students online and face-to-face.

As our Indian Alumni Ambassador summed it up, ‘while more questions do mean more conversation, the key point is to now get focused on what alumni can do for Royal Holloway and how the College would want to leverage off its alumni network in India’.

He added, ‘I must say that it was a very wonderful event, brilliantly organised and my sincere thanks to all of you’.

We hope to engage with alumni at a series of forthcoming pre-departure briefings held throughout India in May and June 2013.
