The Founder’s West Reading Room will remain a library reading room, as it always has been, providing students with space to study and reflect in historic surroundings. We are taking the opportunity to decorate it before it re-opens in 2018.
The other areas in Founder’s that make up the library as it is today have been adapted and changed throughout our history to meet the changing needs of students – and today is no exception. Some exciting opportunities are currently being reviewed, but as Founder’s is a Grade I listed building there are many factors that need to be considered. As soon as plans are confirmed they will be shared with our community.
