Library@

The Library and the College are working together to provide you with additional spaces to study during important weeks of the academic year. 

Bedford Library is open 24/7 throughout the vacation and exam period and Founder's Library has extended opening hours every day with two large reading rooms available for silent study.

In additon to the above, a range of additional study space options across campus are listed below:

Library@ McCrea building

McCrea Building, from 10th April to 21st April inclusive:

Monday to Friday: 10:00 to 19:00

McCREA-218 Seminar Room (15 people) 

McCREA-301 Seminar Room (16 people)  

McCREA-325  Seminar Room (16 people) 

Library@ The Hub, Founders & Kingswood

The Hub is available for study during term time only from 6.30am - 11.00am and 2.30pm - 7.30pm Monday to Saturday, and from 6.30am - 7.30pm on Sundays.

Founders Dining Hall is available every day from 10.00am - 12.00pm and 2.00pm to 5.30pm for study from the 24th April until the 26th May.  

Kingswood Dining Hall is available every day from 8.30pm until 2.00am for study from the 24th April until the 26th May. 

This is a study space, and misuse of the space or excessive noise and mess may cause the removal of this privilege.

Library@ PC Labs

A number of open access PC suites are available across campus. A full list is available here.

 The PC Finder can also be used to locate available PCs.

Library@ International Building

Students are welcome to use room IN123 in the International Building, daily from 10:00 to 19:00.

This is a study space, and misuse of the space or excessive noise and mess may cause the removal of this privilege.

Library@ Munro Fox

Munro Fox Lecture Theatre: from Monday 27th March – Wednesday 19th April 2017, daily between 10:00 to 19:00, with the exception of Wednesday 5th April, when it is not available.

Munro Fox Seminar Room: from Monday 27th March – Wednesday 19th April 2017, daily between 10:00 to 19:00.

Library@ Biological Sciences

Bourne foyer is available for study Monday to Friday 8.00am - 6.00pm throughout the exam period. This may be more suitable for group study.

Toilet facilities are available in the Bedford Library.

There is no access to any other part of the Bourne  Building. 

Library@ Economics

Only Economics and Law students can make use of the following study spaces:

Economics Hub is available every day from 6.00am - 11.00pm.

Horton Lecture Theatres 1 & 2 are available every day from 6.00pm -11.00pm during term time only.

Library@ Geography

Only Geography students can make use of the ground floor of the Queen's building.

Please note that this is strictly for the use of Geography students only until the end of exam term.

Library@ Management

Only Management students can make use of extended opening hours up to 11pm in the Moore Building until the end of the exam term.

Library@ Politics & International Relations

Only PIR students can make use of the Seminar Room when not in use.

Please check, when the room is not in use, before making any study arrangements.

Library@ Psychology

Only Psychology students can make use of the spaces available to study in the department.
