Before contacting the library about this issue, please double check at your accommodation that the item wasn't left behind, for example, in instances where multiple items are returned at once. Please also ensure that that the book was returned to the correct library (Bedford books cannot be returned to Founder's Library, and vice versa).
If a book is left in a drop box, it does not get returned on the system until the next working day.
If none of the above applies to you and you are concerned about the item on your account, please do get in touch and we will check the shelves. If the item is found, we will return it for you and waive any fines incurred.
